Mata Bhadrakali temple in Takipur, Distt Kangra
Himachal is known as Dev Bhoomi (Land of gods). Here there are many ancient temples, some of the temple in Himachal Pradesh were invaded and destroyed by the mughal invaders. The mata Bhadrakali pindi in this temple of Takipur is an example of such invasion.
Brief History of Bhadrakali Temple, Takipur
Mata idol here is belived to be centuries old and the original temple was destroyed by the the mughal invaders. After mughal lotted the place sewak Dyala Ram This temple is near to the Radha Swami satsang bhawan Takipur extracted the idol of mata and started worshiping again in his house. He continued to worship till hi life time, however since there was no one else in his family to continue the worship of the goddess. Near his death time, Dyala Ram hide the goddess idol in the ground and promised in another life he will come and take goddess out of the groupdfor worship again.
How goddess Bhadrakali appeared again n recent time
Sewak Gulshan Kumar (Ravinder) who is a worshiped of goddess told that Goddess Bhadrakali herself appeared in his dream and asked him to get the idol of the goddess extracted and establish in his home. He got the dream on 15th of January 2021 and upon discussion with family, villagers and priests from nearby temple the digging of soil at the mentioned place was started on 18th January 2021. Digging work took whole day and at around 4:00 pm the idol of the goddess appeared 5feet underground.
The Goddess idol was brought to the home in the palki and established there. Soon the word spread out and people from nearby and far places started visiting the place to seek blessings of the goddess Bhadrakali. A bhandara is to be held this Friday (23rd April). Sewak Gulshan Kumar envisions to beuild a grand temple here so that people can worships and seek blessings from the goddess easily and in great comfort.
